The power of your imagination

I hope that you are using your Colour Reflections MP3  visualisation each day. One of its purposes is for you to discover the power of your imagination. Our imagination and brain are trained with time and repetition whichever way we use it. Either worrying,  or positive imaging as  the Colour Reflections script prompts  will alter your brain biochemistry and wiring. Practicing will take you where you want to go.  Don't worry if you can't follow each part , sometimes you might get engrossed in a certain part's detail and that is fine. The next day it may be another part or you can follow my voice the whole time, depending on what is happening in your life. However the main point is to give yourself a mini holiday and  build good memories through your whole being. By finely developing the skill to visualise and bring  your senses into the experience  in the now it will help you when you are visualising a particular goal or hope that you have, become more emotionally engaged with it. That will then empower you when you are taking action, rather than just relying on will power or adrenaline!

It also helps your brain loosen old memories of pain and discomfort so you can move forward. I have been re reading Norman Doidge's book "The Brain that Changes Itself" and in particular how they have helped those with "phantom limb pains" which were very debilitating to the sufferers to no longer experience that pain!!  Which is amazing when you think about it. They did it through combing two techniques for the most difficult cases.  Each day they  imagined in their mind's eye the limb  moving  and at another time of the day they  used a mirror box and moving the  arm or leg that had not been amputated,  to build a different memory in the brain associated with the amputated limb. Most experienced at least some relief  if not all pain gone. This took for most between 4 to 12 weeks depending on a number of conditions. Before, these breakthroughs occured in treatment people thought they would have the pain for the rest of their lives.  I find it so inspiring to see how powerful these breakthroughs in neuroplasticity are to help us move forward in life, to lessen suffering and build more of the experiences we want.

Please use your Colour Reflections each day and practise your breathing more or practise seeing any thing you would like to see come into your life or this world when it is just the music playing.

Please write and tell me what opens up in your life, or what has been brought in as a result.
